E-Textiles Wearables Standard Group Ramping Up Activities
The IPC D-75a-EU E-Textiles Wearables Standards Task Group formed earlier this year out of the IPC E-Textiles Committee in Europe to develop an international standard for e-textiles wearables.
Since its formation, this international group of e-textiles enthusiasts have been hard at work in developing IPC-8981, Quality and Reliability of E-Textiles Wearables. This open international standard will establish required testing, reliability and washability expectations for e-textiles wearables products.
Participation on the task group is open to anyone. To learn more about the standard and how to get involved, email ChrisJorgensen@ipc.org.
